The Down-Hole Source (DHS Series) Air Guns, popularly known as MUD GUNS, are used where harsh operating environments such as mud and sand demand reliability under the most severe conditions. Originally the DHS Guns were used for land Vertical Seismic Profiling (VSP) applications, utilizing the mud pit at the drill site. Applications have since expanded to offshore VSP's, site foundation studies for nuclear power plants, portable mini Air Gun arrays for remote and environmentally sensitive areas and augured DHS guns for use in transitional zone work.
